Best Picture: Phantom Thread Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri Dunkirk Darkest Hour Lady Bird Get Out Call Me By Your Name The Shape of Water The Post My prediction: Lady Bird: A film that embodies the human spirit and portrays the struggle of adolescence with the directorial debut of Greta Gerwig, this film is a shoe in for the Best Picture. I will also root for Get Out, Dunkirk and Darkest Hour. It captures the essence of what the violence of the war and the psychological impact is. Nolan does an outstanding job at handling those important details.
